This is my entry for CGsociety Challenge The Journey Begins

Background:

It’s difficult to walk the path when you don’t know where it leads to and it’s even more difficult when no one knows… But we did and we found it, even though everyone thought we were chasing the illusion. We went through so much, but it was worth it. Now I feel like I want to laugh, because, honestly, I was starting to doubt about all this myself... And here it is, just in front of our eyes. This is no paradise, because we’re not dead, this is our attained merit and it’s just about to begin…

It's the season the trees die, the birds don't sing anymore, the rivers never come back, nature dies out...

Amazing work! Those structures are divine and the whole piece has such great atmosphere.

Awesome work....the simple color tones make it really work..anything more vibrant I think, would have detracted from the picture:-) Really nice job here~

I love the colors and feel!! My eyes keep getting drawn up to the gorgeous lighted area at the top and I almost totally missed your little people, though!

It looks so very peaceful. The amazing amount of detail work and flowing look to the structure, when combined with your lighting, makes it look almost underwater, an effect that I love. What on earth software did you use to make it?

Life gives us questions, but we must find the answers ourselves.

Just looking at it makes me feel like they're going into a beautiful yet intimidating world.
Very mysterious too, makes me have a lot of questions about those cats and why they're there and who put them there and who's in those buildings in the distance and what will they do with their newcomers? I consider that a good sign of a captivating environment.

As long as we live every scar is a bridge to someone's broken heart.
